When I am struggling to synthesize lot of ideas from several stakeholders, it is easy to get stuck. If are too many ideas to process, my brain can’t focus. I feel anxious and excited. When I get like this, I know I am in a creative stew.
I have to stop stewing to gain perspective.
I need to rest. I go to sleep with several questions in mind, trusting that if I can relax my brain some themes or patterns will emerge. When I get up the next day, I usually have an answer.
It might not be a great answer, but it’s usually good enough to move forward.
